The inner jacket can be detached from the MAB v4 gilet which can be used over all other jackets as if it were a MAB v3
In the event of rain, the inner jacket can be quickly unfastened from the MAB v4, covered with a rain suit (not supplied) and worn over the MAB v4
The inner jacket is made of high tenacity polyester with an open mesh to let the air pass well, dragging it inside the chest and back.
The inner jacket n, in the part overlapping the MAB v4 gilet, is made of very large-mesh mesh for maximum air circulation.
Also on the side there are further tape adjustments if MAB is used in summer over a light jacket or in winter over a triple layer jacket
Inside there is a waist belt to be adjusted and connected to keep MAB always in the correct position, both when driving and in case of activation
On the sides and shoulders there are elastic inserts which expand in the event of activation both to allow the two airbag systems to expand correctly and to ensure that the rider is not oppressed by the airbag system: with the airbag inflated it is still possible to continue ride, get off or off the bike, turn your head to look around, breathe normally
The two airbag systems are equipped with valves for automatic inflation: the protective state of the MAB lasts about 30 seconds and then deflates completely within a few minutes
Fast Lock is connected to the synchronization system which allows the airbag to be activated closer to the impact situation. For example, in a frontal impact, the front airbag is activated early and the rear one is activated after a few thousandths. For rear-end collisions, first the rear airbag and then the front one. In any case, both airbags deploy
There are slots in the vest that allow Fast Lock to come out of the vest. Fast Lock, after activating MAB, releases and remains attached to the saddle
MAB is equipped with an anti-accidental activation system: before activating the airbag system it is necessary to extend the cable, overcome the elastic recoil force of Fast Lock and apply a load of 15 kg. A small sticker is also inserted to put on the dashboard to remind you of the first uses
The new design of MAB v4 allows you to wear it over any type of jacket in a very comfortable way, especially at shoulder height, it integrates well with the shoulder protectors present in motorcycle jackets.
Fast Lock is compatible with the Mini Frog miniaturized quick release
